Like the lone mamber did initially...you make the same mistake....you are not using Joomla for the blog? What, no faith in the product? C,mon.....use Joomla for the blog!
This is crazy. Using Blogger for a Joomla blog?
Go to http://extensions.joomla.org/
In the left column click "Content & News", choose "Blog". You will see at least 4 options for Joomla blogs that will take less time to install than it took to set up this Blogger blog.
Sigh.
I must say that Joomla and the people around it and in it... they have totally changed my life. It allows me to do the part of web design I truly love.
My clients love the fact that the software is free and it gives me a chance to give them a lesson in Open Source software.
And the power and speed is just unmatched.
I thought about doing a full Joomla install for this, but it seemed very over kill. This is quick and simple, the right tool for the right job :)
I just want to say - continue this good blog. Joomla is very popular.

I use Joomla for quite a few sites and whilst I like the functionality and versatility, I think that there are better CMS' out there. Don't get me wrong, I still prefer Joomla and have got used to using it but for new users, Joomla is very difficult to get your head around and is a bit bloated for most needs (and can take a while for a site to load)
I think I'll always be loyal to Joomla but there does seem to be a lot of bugs in 1.5 with all the constant updates!
